Remodels, repairs, and everything on the list

If it is inside the walls of a house or attached to the outside of one, there is a good chance we do it. Here is the full range, and what a job usually includes.

Tile & Stone

Setting a new floor tile into thinset during a tile repair

Tile is where shortcuts show up first, and where they cost the most to fix. We build shower pans and waterproof them properly, lay out the field so cuts land where they should, and grout and seal so the job still looks right in five years.

  • Shower surrounds & pans
  • Niches & benches
  • Floor tile
  • Backsplashes
  • Waterproofing
  • Regrout & repair

Bathroom Remodels

Finished bathroom with a freestanding tub and a subway tile shower

Full guts or a focused update. Tub to shower conversions, new vanities and tops, fixtures, lighting, exhaust fans, flooring and paint, sequenced so the room is out of commission for as few days as possible.

  • Tub to walk in shower
  • Vanities & tops
  • Fixtures & valves
  • Exhaust & lighting
  • Accessible / grab bars
  • Half bath updates

Kitchen Remodels

Finished kitchen with white cabinets, a range hood and a tile backsplash

From a backsplash and new hardware up through cabinets, countertops and a reworked layout. We coordinate the counter template and install so you are not stuck without a sink longer than you have to be.

  • Cabinet install
  • Refacing & repaint
  • Countertops
  • Backsplash
  • Islands & pantries
  • Appliance fitting

Drywall, Texture & Paint

Photo, drywall repair

Water stains, settling cracks, doorknob holes, or a whole room hung from studs. We match the existing texture so the patch disappears instead of announcing itself under the ceiling light.

  • Patches & holes
  • Texture matching
  • Ceiling repair
  • Popcorn removal
  • Interior paint
  • Trim & door paint

Carpentry & Trim

Built in cabinetry and trim surrounding a wall mounted television

Doors that latch without a shoulder, base and crown with tight joints, built ins and shelving, plus the structural repairs behind them, rotted framing, sagging joists, and subfloor.

  • Interior & exterior doors
  • Base, casing & crown
  • Built ins & shelving
  • Framing repair
  • Subfloor
  • Soffit & fascia

Flooring

Large format slate tile floor

Luxury vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood and tile, over a subfloor that has been leveled and prepped first. Transitions, thresholds and base shoe included, not tacked on as an extra.

  • LVP & laminate
  • Hardwood repair
  • Tile floors
  • Subfloor leveling
  • Transitions & trim
  • Stair treads

Exterior & Outdoor

Photo, deck or exterior

Mississippi weather is hard on wood. We chase down rot before it spreads, rebuild decks and porches, repair siding and fencing, and clean up what the humidity leaves behind.

  • Decks & porches
  • Rotted wood repair
  • Siding repair
  • Fencing & gates
  • Pressure washing
  • Gutter repairs

Everyday Repairs & Punch Lists

  • Leaky faucets & fixtures
  • Toilets & disposals
  • Sticking doors & windows
  • Hardware & locks
  • Ceiling fans & lights
  • Inspection punch lists
  • TV & shelf mounting

Common Questions

Before you call

Is there a charge for an estimate?

No. We come look at the work, talk through what you want, and send a written estimate at no cost.

Is there a minimum job size?

Small jobs are welcome. We do have a minimum for a trip out, and we will tell you what it is up front so nothing is a surprise.

Do you handle permits?

For work that needs one, we walk you through what the city or county requires and who pulls it. Anything requiring a licensed plumber or electrician gets one.

Do you buy the materials, or do I?

Either way works. Many customers pick out finishes and let us handle the ordering and pickup. Whatever you choose, material costs are itemized on the estimate.

How far out are you booking?

It moves with the season. Call or send the form and we will tell you the honest window, not the one that sounds best.

Not sure which one your job is?

That is fine, describe it in plain words and we will sort it out. Most calls start with “I am not sure who to call for this.”
